¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

Registration is officially open to the public today on our new and improved website!

Registration links can be found under the "Tournament Details" page on the right-hand side and will take you to a questionnaire. Please fill this out fully and honestly.  We have added more questions this year in an effort to make more balanced teams in terms of skill level.

There is a tiered pricing structure this year. Prices will increase on July 1, so sign up soon!  Last year we had ~50% of participants sign up the week prior to the tournament, making planning extremely difficult.

As always, please shoot us an email at nlqppolo@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns.

The 2016 Quarry Water Polo Scramble Tournament Date has been confirmed for August 13th-14th!!

With the help of your feedback, we have many improvements planned for this year.  Check out the Tourney Details page to see what's in store for 2016.  Registration will be open once we solidify a better payment method, as we know there was some confusion last year.

More detailed updates to come. Check our website and various social networks as we do our best to keep them up to date. There is also now an official mailing list: Sign Up
Last year's inaugural tournament was such a smashing success that we had to do it again! Thank you all for making last year what it was. We have learned a lot, and with the help of your suggestions, have many improvements planned.

We are still in negotiations to solidify an official tournament date; however, can safely say it will be early August. We are expecting a larger participant turnout, as such a 2-day tournament will be necessary this year.

So, keep your calendars free for early August, tell your friends, and we'll see you all at the Quarry in the summer. :)

Thanks again to everyone who came out to the quarry this past Summer  The participation far exceeded our expectations.  Congrats to the Battle Toads on being the inaugural tournament Champions, and the Dino Sharks on being the runner-ups.

We are happy to say that the polo participants left a good mark on the park. Thank you to everyone for cleaning up your campsite and helping to give the scramble tournament a positive reputation. After tournament costs, we were able to make a $200 donation to the Rett Syndrome Association. This tournament would not have been possible without the Cleveland and Akron Water Polo Clubs allowing use of their equipment, as well as the many volunteer ref and table workers.

Overall, we have heard positive feedback and aim to make this an annual event.  To receive updates about the 2016 Quarry Scramble, join our mailing list below:

The Quarry is 82 degrees and ready for some polo!
Teams and bracket will be created Tuesday night. Late registration will be accepted through Tuesday afternoon.
The 4th Annual Deaf Camp Out will also be taking place the weekend of the Scramble. They have many activities planned, including a keg night on Friday, which all polo players have been invited to participate in.
If you plan on participating in any of their activities, be sure to give a donation. All donations will go to OAD (Ohio Association of the Deaf) and OYO Camp.

This is a friendly reminder that this is the last week to sign up for the tourney. We are happy to say that we currently have 45 people signed up to play as of right now. Of those 45, we have people traveling from Illinois, Missouri, Alabama, and the greater Washington DC area. The more the merrier, so sign up if you haven’t, and tell your friends to if you have. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Reminder from the last update. In addition to polo, there will be live music, disc golf set up throughout the park, and a cookout to follow all the games.
